The former Habsburg royal hunting lodge of Tikveš — a moated neo-Gothic castle in the middle of Kopački Rit's forests — is paired with the Belje winery, one of Croatia's biggest and most historic. Cellar tours here run through vaulted underground galleries stocked with the region's Graševina, and lunch is a full Slavonian feast of roasted river carp and paprikaš.
