A lonely medieval watchtower on a Danube cliff between Osijek and Vukovar — one of the oldest surviving buildings in Slavonia, dating to the 13th century. The neighbouring Erdut winery (whose oak barrel is one of the largest in the world at 75,000 litres) makes this an unusual half-day pairing of ruin and cellar.
