Vela Plaža — Baška's 2-kilometre pebble beach on the southern end of Krk — is one of the largest beaches on the Adriatic and consistently rated one of the best in Croatia. Backed by dramatic bare karst hills and colourful old-town houses, it's a rare combination of length, scenery and easy family access.
