The baroque Belje estate manor in Kneževo was the summer seat of Prince Eugene of Savoy after his 1697 Habsburg victories on the Danube. Its ochre façade, geometric formal garden and estate chapel still stand at the edge of Baranja's most storied wine domain; the tasting cellar in the old wing pours vintages traceable to Habsburg dispatches.
