Writing a detailed guide for Caldea…
Caldea's 80-metre glass spire — Andorra's tallest building — houses 6,000 m² of thermal pools, lagoons, Indo-Roman baths, hammams, and an outdoor jacuzzi looking up at the Pyrenees. The water is naturally hot (70 °C at source) and rich in sulphur. The adults-only Inúu wing offers a quieter, premium experience. Allow at least 3 hours.
Fun facts
- The thermal water emerges at 70 °C from the Escaldes spring, used by the Romans 2,000 years ago.
- Caldea's glass tower was designed by French architect Jean-Michel Ruols and opened in 1994.
